HigherDose Unveils Red Light Hat for Hair Health

by Madonna

HigherDose, known for its popular wellness tech products like the Sauna Blanket, Red Light Face Mask, and Infrared PEMF Mat, has introduced its newest innovation: the Red Light Hat for hair growth.

This hat boasts 120 medical-grade LED bulbs emitting light at 650 nm wavelength, specifically chosen to stimulate hair growth. Each session lasts 10 minutes, with the brand recommending daily use for best results. The FDA has approved the use of red light to promote hair growth and scalp health in individuals with existing hair follicles.

A Growing Market for Hair Health

While red light helmets for hair growth abound, HigherDose’s hat distinguishes itself with its discreet design, resembling a baseball cap. This design choice allows users to integrate hair treatments seamlessly into their daily routines without drawing attention.

Hair loss, traditionally associated with men, has garnered attention for its impact on postpartum and menopausal women, making the hat a versatile solution for various demographics.

For optimal results, HigherDose recommends daily use of the hat for four months. During the initial two months, some users may experience hair shedding as weaker hair gives way to stronger growth. However, beyond this initial phase, users should anticipate stronger and thicker hair.

The hat’s baseball cap design not only ensures discretion but also enhances its portability compared to HigherDose’s larger products like the Sauna Blanket and PEMF Mat. This smaller size could potentially facilitate retail expansion, making it a staple in wellness routines.

Priced at $449, the Red Light Hat aligns with HigherDose’s other high-tech, portable wellness products. For reference, the Red Light Face Mask and Neck Enhancer are priced at $349 each. This smaller-sized hat could further foster retail expansion and integrate into people’s wellness regimens.

In a recent interview with Athletech News, HigherDose founders Lauren Berlingeri and Katie Kaps hinted at the brand’s strategic focus on portable products.

“We will continue to expand DTC portable wellness technology products that support longevity, vitality, sleep, skin, recovery, and detoxification,” Kaps stated.

Berlingeri and Kaps also discussed the brand’s forthcoming expansion through strategic partnerships with top retailers, as well as their emphasis on utilizing HigherDose products for wellness tourism. At the upcoming Paris Olympics, the brand will host activations for female athletes.
