A Stourbridge-based hair salon, Bliss & Bliss Hair, recently celebrated its eighth anniversary on Tuesday, October 1. Located on Hagley Road, the salon has become a local staple since its founding in 2016 by a mother-and-son team.
What began as a small business venture has now grown into a thriving establishment, with a staff of eight professionals. Notably, three members of the team honed their skills through the salon’s in-house training program. Another team member is currently in training and is expected to qualify by mid-2024.
Co-owner Lawson Bliss reflected on the salon’s journey, emphasizing the pivotal role of their dedicated team. “It’s been a whirlwind eight years, but having a fantastic staff makes all the difference. Their contributions go beyond service quality; they enhance the atmosphere, foster teamwork, and elevate client satisfaction.”
In addition to the salon’s milestone, co-owner Jill Bliss is marking a personal achievement this month—celebrating 40 years in the hairdressing industry.
