De Creative Emporium, an Afro-Caribbean hair and art studio, has officially relocated from the Market Hall at Castle Place shopping centre to a more spacious and modern venue at 8 The Gateway shopping centre. The salon specializes in Afro-Caribbean hair and curly hair care, and features an in-house shop for hair products and cosmetics.
After successfully launching their first salon and shop in March 2023, owners Nako and Eddy Bedu Addo sought a larger location to better serve their clients. They invite the community to join their grand opening event on Saturday, October 26, starting at 12 noon.
Nako and Eddy expressed their excitement: “We invite the whole community to come out and celebrate with us, explore our services, and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. De Creative Emporium aims to create a space where clients can embrace their natural beauty and leave feeling confident and empowered.”
The salon is committed to providing exceptional hair care specifically tailored for Afro-Caribbean and curly hair types. Their experienced stylists are dedicated to empowering clients with expert knowledge and personalized services. They specialize in various styles, including curls, dreadlocks, French braids, box braids, micro braids, and crochet styles.
At the grand opening, guests can enjoy quick haircuts, complimentary drinks and nibbles, and live music from a DJ. Additionally, during the school half-term holiday, the salon will offer special ‘Half Term Braids’ for children, making it a family-friendly destination.
