Indian skin and hair care brand Inde Wild has closed a $5 million seed extension round, led by Unilever Ventures, to fuel its growing global partnership with Sephora. Founded in 2021 by influencers Diipa Büller-Khosla and Oleg Büller-Khosla, the Mumbai-based brand plans to launch in Sephora US in early 2026, following its Sephora UK debut in late 2024.
Inde Wild’s success is rooted in blending clinical results with traditional Indian ingredients and rituals, such as the popular Champi Hair Oil and Rose Sun Mist. The brand’s direct-to-consumer strategy in North America, the UK, and India has been bolstered by Büller-Khosla’s 2.3 million social media followers and extensive community engagement, including 65 focus groups.
The brand, which prides itself on its strong connections with the South Asian community, has also secured investments from SoGal Ventures and True Global Ventures. SoGal’s Pocket Sun calls the brand “a symbol of the global South Asian community’s rise.”
The recent funding round will support further expansion and product development as Inde Wild continues its mission to redefine Ayurvedic beauty in the modern market.
