Amit Thakur: After two to three months of intensive research with five other panelists, we’ve unveiled the TRESemmé Style Collective, making it easier for you to stay on-trend. Bubble braids, curtain bangs, the sleek bun, and the 90’s blowout are all the rage, and I believe they can be managed and styled effortlessly at home.

G: What advice do you have for those who wish to experiment with trending hairstyles but are concerned about whether the style will suit them?

AT: Start with trends that are versatile and not too drastic, such as the 90’s blowout or the layered lob.

PB: You can align trends with your hair type or face shape. This can provide insights into how the style might look. If you prefer a safe bet, consider timeless trends like the 90’s blowout, a style even featured in the TRESemmé Style Collective.

G: In your view, which trending hairstyles work well with different hair textures, including straight, curly, and wavy?

AT: I’d say a layered lob is a versatile choice. It adds dimension to the face, regardless of your face shape or hair type.

PB: Curtain bangs are an excellent option as they enhance the overall look.

G: Hair accessories are currently in vogue. How can they be seamlessly integrated into a variety of hairstyles?

AT: Hair accessories offer tremendous room for experimentation. The Chic Bows & Scarves trend is versatile and can be effortlessly embraced by anyone. You can also try oversized pins and ornate, stone-studded clips to infuse drama into your look.

PB: The Chic Bows & Scarves trend is a prime example of how one trend can cater to a wide audience. It exudes chicness, comfort, and a unique flair. Massive pins are another favorite, as they complement nearly every hairstyle.

G: Which 90s hair trends have experienced a resurgence in recent years?

AT: The 90’s blowout is the one that’s not only trending but also a part of the six trends featured in the TRESemmé Style Collective. It’s a timeless classic that never goes out of style.

PB: The 90’s blowout is a beloved choice, embraced by many. During the selection process for the TRESemmé Style Collective, we were certain it deserved a spot.

G: Can you share the essential hairstyling products you rely on for achieving long-lasting hairstyles?

AT: TRESemmé’s leave-in serum is my go-to finishing product.

PB: Two standout products for me would be TRESemmé Bond Plex Repair oil, which I use as an overnight treatment serum, and TRESemmé Gloss Ultimate serum for its excellent heat protection as a pre-styler.
