Family Dream Comes True: Ohana Hair and Beauty Set to Open in Risca

by Madonna

In a heartwarming family venture, Louise and her daughters, Kayleigh and Shannon, are gearing up to unveil Ohana Hair and Beauty on February 1, located at One Tredegar Street, Risca. The name Ohana, chosen for its profound meaning, translates to ‘family’ in Hawaiian, encapsulating the essence of their close-knit enterprise.

True to the familial spirit, the salon will welcome not only clients but also their cherished canine companions, Marley and Pablo, ensuring that “no one gets left behind” in this unique family affair.

“Ohana is a Hawaiian term meaning family, so it was the perfect name for us and our family-run salon,” shared Louise. Drawing inspiration from the sentiment in the film Lilo and Stitch, where “no one gets left behind,” Marley and Pablo, the family dogs, will be joining the salon, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

To mark this exciting new chapter, Ohana Hair and Beauty will host a lively launch party on February 2, inviting the community to join in the celebration. The salon will be open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 8 pm, Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm, ensuring flexibility for their clientele. The combination of family dedication and professional expertise is poised to make Ohana Hair and Beauty a cherished addition to the Risca community.
