Celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano is revealing the secrets behind Vanessa Hudgens’ stunning wedding day hairstyle in a recent TikTok video. Priano, who dubbed Hudgens “the most beautiful bride in the world,” meticulously walked through the process of crafting the actress’s elegant look for her intimate wedding to Cole Tucker, 27.
Using a range of Redken products, Priano started by washing Hudgens’ hair with the Acidic Color Gloss Shampoo, Glass Gloss Treatment, and Color Gloss Conditioner. The TikTok clip shows Hudgens leaning over a picturesque “jungle sink,” water cascading down like tentacles.
Next, the hairstylist applied the Color Gloss Heat Protection Treatment and Redken Spray Smooth to Hudgens’ damp hair, imparting a glossy finish. After blow-drying with a round brush, Priano employed a flat iron for an impeccably smooth texture.
Priano expertly sectioned the hair, employing the Max Sculpting Gel and Brushable Hairspray to pull it back and shape a flawless round bun. The final touch involved securing the look with Control Hairspray.
In Hudgens’ wedding photos, she sports pearl-like hair accessories beneath the bun and a long veil adorned with custom embroidery that reads “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023.”
Complementing the sophisticated hairstyle was a Vera Wang wedding dress, described by Hudgens as “sleek, modern, and sexy.” She also adorned a sheer cape, adding a touch of ethereal flair to the ensemble.
In an interview, Hudgens shared, “I love the whole ethereal bohemian vibe—that will always be a part of me, but I didn’t want it to be the main thing.”
The High School Musical alum tied the knot with Tucker at the Azulik Hotel in Tulum, Mexico. The ceremony took place at the Azulik City of Arts museum, nestled 45 minutes into the jungle.
Reflecting on the unique venue, Hudgens expressed, “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”
Describing the private wedding weekend as “the most magical” of her life, Hudgens and Tucker, who first sparked romance rumors in November 2020, announced their engagement on February 9 of the same year.
