New Delhi: Rubina Dilaik, who welcomed her twin daughters Edhaa and Jeeva with husband Abhinav Shukla in November 2023, is shedding light on the realities of postpartum experiences. In a candid vlog shared recently, Rubina opened up about grappling with significant hair loss, a facet of motherhood she hadn’t been prepared for, and is now keen to inform other expectant mothers about.
In her Instagram vlog, Rubina Dilaik delved into the transformations women undergo after pregnancy. She commenced her narrative by expressing, “Today, I’m not feeling beautiful at all. Postpartum hair fall, serious hair fall. No one told us about this that so much hair fall will happen whenever I comb.”
Describing the texture change in her hair, she continued, “My hair has become very rough. But nonetheless, I think this is part and parcel of the motherhood journey. There are many things that I shared with my guests on ‘Kisine Bataya Nahi – The Motherhood Journey.'”
Rubina stressed the importance of not fearing the journey and encouraged expecting mothers to embrace it. Accompanying her video was the caption “Kisine btaya nahi” (No one told us), with the title indicating “So much happening.”
Having delivered her daughters via C-section, Rubina Dilaik had earlier shared her transformation journey on Instagram, documenting the period from November 2023 to January 2024.
The imagery presented a stark contrast between Rubina during pregnancy and 36 days postpartum, alongside snapshots of her engaging in various workout routines.
