Shania Twain’s pink hair has caught the eye of many, and the singer recently shared the story behind her vibrant transformation.
“I was experimenting with different colors for a while,” the Grammy winner told E! News’ Carolina Bermudez in an exclusive interview. “During the Queen of Me Tour, I tried a variety of colors, changing my look every night. I ended up loving pink the most.”
Twain decided to incorporate this new look into her Come on Over Las Vegas residency.
“I chose to make it my new ‘Man! I Feel like a Woman!’ look,” she explained. “I’m wearing the original outfit from the song’s video, and I think the pink hair beautifully contrasts with it.” (For more from Shania’s interview, watch E! News on May 14 at 11 p.m.)
Twain expressed her affection for the pink style, noting how it complements her signature look.
“I really love it,” the 58-year-old singer said. “It’s playful and cheerful. In the ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ video, my hair is slicked back. The long pink hair brings new life to the look.”
Twain also revealed who was behind her new hair color. On Instagram on May 7, she credited celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos for her pink tresses.
