Tamara Duckworth has joined Christine Karow Hair Designs and Massage as a stylist. Duckworth brings over two decades of experience in hair design, a profession she fell in love with after beauty school.
“I love the creativity and the fact that it feels like I’m not even working,” Duckworth said.
Duckworth specializes in “blinding,” dimensional color, lived-in color, and gray blending. Her goal is to give clients beautiful, shiny, healthy hair that lasts long after they leave her chair.
“I fell in love with the color world. It changed everything for me,” she added.
Duckworth has been living in Florida since 1994 and now resides on Pine Island. She previously worked at a spa in Tampa with at least 25 other stylists. This experience helped her become a seasoned colorist.
After owning a salon in Palm Beach, Duckworth sold it last year and moved to Pine Island. She is excited to start her new chapter here.
“Pine Island is amazing. It’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time, and I’m thrilled to be here,” Duckworth said.
Duckworth will initially work on Tuesdays and Thursdays and plans to increase her hours as she gets busier.
