L’Oréal Paris has launched Colorsonic, a groundbreaking hair color device boasting over 29 patents.
This device caters to all hair types, lengths, and textures. It automatically mixes dye and developer to ensure long-lasting color. Colorsonic operates like a hairbrush, parting and saturating each strand evenly, including hard-to-reach areas like the back of the head. The device features a bristle that moves 300 times per minute, allowing users to adjust the speed for optimal formula application, according to the company.
In addition to the device, L’Oréal Paris offers a multi-use hair color cartridge. Each cartridge provides up to three applications and is available in 20 shades. The formula is free of ammonia, silicones, parabens, SLS, SLES, and phthalates.
“Since L’Oréal invented permanent hair color over 100 years ago, our focus has been on high-performance, research-backed innovation,” said Ali Goldstein, president of L’Oréal Paris USA. “Colorsonic is a gamechanger for the industry, combining advanced technology with high-quality results that you can achieve at home.”
The Colorsonic website includes educational resources such as a shade quiz, step-by-step video tutorials, articles, and access to professional colorists for support.
Colorsonic is priced at $124.99, with cartridges available for $29.99 each at select Target stores.
