Wigan’s Grand Arcade has welcomed its first hairdressing salon, Head Turners, which opened on June 13. The salon promises “affordable services” for all customers.
Head Turners offers a range of high-quality hairdressing and barbering services for women, men, and children.
For women, services include haircuts, shampoo and blow-dry, hair coloring, highlights, balayage, hairstyling, and perms. Men can enjoy services from a genuine Turkish barber, including scissor cuts, clipper cuts, skin fades, cut-throat shaving with hot towels, and beard styling.
To celebrate their opening, the salon is offering a 20 percent discount on all services until the end of June.
“We have a fabulous, highly experienced team at the salon and we are excited to get started,” said Jackie Wood, the salon owner. “We want to offer affordable services. Our haircuts start at £16 for women and £14 for men. We believe it’s important to take time out to have some ‘you’ time and look and feel your very best.”
Mike Matthews, the Grand Arcade centre manager, expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition. “We are delighted to welcome Kevin, Jackie, and their team to the centre. Head Turners are the latest new tenant and the first hairdressing salon we’ve had. We wish them every success.”
Kevin Wood, also a salon owner, added, “We are looking forward to bringing our excellent services to Wigan. Besides hairdressing, we hope to soon offer foot care and aesthetic treatments, including Botox. The Grand Arcade has a great mix of stores, and lots of exciting things to come.”
