Lily Collins has embraced a bold new hairstyle just in time for the summer heatwave.
The Emily in Paris star appeared on the red carpet in Hollywood, California, on Monday, June 24. She showcased her striking new look outside the TCL Chinese Theatre at the world premiere of A24’s Maxxxine, where she plays the character Molly Bennett.
Collins stunned in a powder blue outfit, featuring an open blazer with buttoned sleeves and a matching asymmetrical wrap skirt. She wore a chained garment adorned with evil eyes and crystals beneath the blazer, maintaining her modesty with the jacket’s edge.
She completed her look with gold jewelry and shiny gold pumps. Her new hairstyle, a dark chin-length bob with side-swept bangs ending in a slight flip, complemented her ensemble. Her makeup included a soft smokey eye, gentle rouge, and a neutral lip.
The actress hinted at her haircut on Instagram the day before, sharing photos of her wavy layers with the caption, “Good(bye) hair day…”
On June 25, she shared an Instagram Story showing the transformation process. In a video from the salon, Collins appeared momentarily shocked as her hair fell into her hand before bursting into laughter with her stylist.
Speaking to Vogue about her new look, Collins said, “This cut and color feel bolder and yet somehow lighter. And completely more me—right now.”
