PLYMOUTH, Conn. (WTNH) — A hair salon in Plymouth’s Terryville area is stepping up to aid those affected by a recent fire.
The blaze occurred on Tuesday morning at a mixed-use building on Main Street. Sadly, it claimed the lives of several pets, including turtles, a cat, a dog, fish, and birds. Fortunately, no people were injured, but the building is a total loss.

Precision Cuts, a local hair salon, is gathering donations to support the displaced residents. Donations can be made from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the rest of the week.
