Kenya Moore Hair Care is reportedly being discontinued at Sally Beauty following ‘revenge porn’ allegations against the Real Housewives of Atlanta star by newcomer Brittany Eady.
An alleged internal email has surfaced, providing Sally Beauty employees with guidance on how to address the controversy. Kenya Moore has denied the allegations.
Reports indicate that Kenya left the show amid an investigation after she allegedly showed an image of a castmate engaged in a sexual act. This incident reportedly took place during the grand opening of her hair spa, an event filmed for the show. Rumors suggest that Kenya plans to sue the network, claiming that Tom Sandoval, who faced similar accusations from ex-girlfriend Raquel Leviss, was not treated the same way.
The leaked email suggests that Kenya Moore’s hair care line is being discontinued at Sally Beauty stores.
The subject line of the alleged email reads: “Kenya Moore Hair Care – Customer Concerns.”
“If customers inquire about recent publicity surrounding Kenya Moore, associates should respond with the following statement,” said the email, shared by @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “Kenya Moore Hair Care is being discontinued at all Sally locations, both in stores and online. This means Kenya Moore products will not be restocked. We anticipate these products will be unavailable by the end of 2024. This decision was part of a larger business strategy made earlier this year.”
“If further questioned, associates can say: 1. On Kenya’s alleged actions: Sally Beauty does not condone the actions Kenya Moore is reportedly accused of,” the email continued. “2. On the discontinuation of products due to the allegations: The decision to discontinue Kenya Moore Hair Care was made before the recent publicity surrounding Kenya Moore.”
