Tyra-May Noble, an eight-year-old pupil from Hanwell Fields Community School, has generously donated 20 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust charity. She decided to cut her hair on Thursday, July 4, after being inspired by conversations with nurses during a hospital check-up.
Tyra-May learned that her hair’s unique length and color would be perfect for making a wig for children who have lost their hair due to illness.
Her mother, Katie, shared, “As soon as Tyra-May heard about the Little Princess Trust, she was determined to help. She has always been very generous.”
In addition to donating her hair, Tyra-May and her mother also started an online fundraiser. The fundraiser has successfully reached its goal of £750, which will be used to make and fit a wig for a child in need.
Katie expressed her pride in her daughter’s generosity, saying, “I’m really proud of her. She makes me proud every day! The Little Princess Trust is an amazing charity, and it was an honor to help them.”
