Aesthetics Hair, a beloved hair salon in Maldon, marked its 30th anniversary on Saturday, July 13.
Located on Edwards Walk, the salon has been operated by best friends Karen and Jo since 1994, when they were just 25 and 21 years old.
In a message to Nub News, Karen and Jo expressed their amazement at the milestone: “We can’t believe it’s been 30 years. Time really does fly when you’re having fun.”
They acknowledged the loyalty of their clients, stating, “We love seeing not just our original clients, but also their children and grandchildren. Their support means everything to us.”
The duo also praised their team: “We couldn’t be a successful salon without an amazing team behind us. Over the years, we’ve worked with and trained some incredible stylists, and we are very proud of their accomplishments.”
They highlighted the dedication of Gabbie, their manager for over 19 years: “The three of us have managed the salon through good times and bad, including the challenges of Covid.”
Karen and Jo concluded with gratitude: “We want to thank all our amazing clients, new and old, for making these 30 years possible.”
Aesthetics Hair now employs nine stylists and is proud to be a L’Oreal premier salon.
