Rōz, the high-end hair care brand founded by celebrity stylist Mara Roszak, has announced a new growth equity investment from Silas Capital and G9 Ventures. The details of the investment deal have not been disclosed.
Launched in 2021, Rōz is available in stores like Credo and Neiman Marcus, as well as in various salons. The brand, which currently offers eight products, benefits from Roszak’s extensive experience and reputation as a Hollywood hairstylist.
“I’m thrilled to have Silas Capital join our team. They have been strong supporters of our brand and have valuable experience in the beauty industry. It’s great to have their support,” Roszak said.
Alongside the institutional investors, actress Lily Collins has joined as an angel investor. Other notable investors include celebrity makeup artists and hairstylists Rachel Goodwin and Pati Dubroff. Previous investors include actresses Mila Kunis, Daisy Ridley, Zoe Saldana, and Brooklyn Decker.
The funding will be used to expand retail presence, introduce new products, and increase the company’s workforce.
Brian Thorne, a partner at Silas Capital, praised the brand’s blend of high performance and clean beauty claims, noting it fills a “true whitespace” in the market. “We are excited to partner with Mara, her A-list clients, and the community of professional stylists to support Rōz’s impressive growth across channels,” Thorne said.
