Arey has announced the results of a six-month, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study evaluating the efficacy of “The System,” which includes its Not Today Grey supplement and To The Root scalp serum. The study involved 173 diverse participants and assessed several metrics, including the number of grey hairs and overall hair quality.
The findings revealed significant results, with 88% of participants using The System experiencing less grey hair growth compared to the placebo group by the end of the 24-week trial. Notably, those in the active group showed improvements in hair thickness, fullness, and shine. Specifically, participants had an average of 13% less grey hair, while the placebo group saw a 10% increase.
Dr. Kenneth Conrad, Arey’s chief medical advisor, emphasized the importance of the study’s design, stating, “No prior randomized, double-blind trial has focused on grey hair. Our results indicate a statistically significant effect on grey hair progression.” He noted that the products were well tolerated, with no serious adverse events reported, highlighting the potential for these solutions to positively impact aging hair.
Dr. Nancy D. Rodgers, Principal Investigator with SGS, added that participants using Arey’s regimen experienced a continuous decrease in grey hair after an additional 12 weeks of use, while the placebo group saw further greying. “The robust study design demonstrates that it is possible to slow down the greying process and even repigment already grey hair,” she stated.
Arey claims the study validates the effectiveness of daily use of The System in enhancing both the management of grey hair and overall hair quality.
