When asked about her role at the salon, Madden proudly confirmed that she is the sole owner of Infinite Alchemy. “Yes! I’m the sole owner of Infinite Alchemy,” she stated.
The business, which officially opened on July 17, 2019, quickly garnered a reputation for both its welcoming atmosphere and its creative services. But for Madden, the mission goes beyond haircuts and coloring. “It’s not just about styling hair,” she explained. “It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome and can have the best experience along with any service we offer.”
Specializing in Vivid and Blonding Techniques
Infinite Alchemy’s social media pages are filled with vibrant, eye-catching images, showcasing clients with hair styled in a spectrum of vivid colors. This isn’t just a trend but a specialty for Madden.
“I am a Vivid and Blonding Artist,” she shared. “I focus solely on these services, creating the best blondes all the way to rainbow hair! At Infinite Alchemy, we focus on what we’re passionate about—hair color ranging from base colors to blondes and vivids. I also offer extension services to my guests.”
Taking the Stage in Texas
Recently, Madden traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to attend a major industry event, Premiere, where she took center stage to teach hairstyling techniques. “I was on stage teaching with my favorite color brand, Danger Jones,” she said, describing how she showcased a vivid color placement using negative space.
This experience was not just about teaching but also learning, as Madden continues to stay on the cutting edge of the hairstyling industry.
A Journey Rooted in Diverse Experience
Originally from Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania, Madden has lived and worked in a variety of locations, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and California. Each of these experiences, she said, contributed to the range of techniques and ideas she brings to her salon today. “I have lived and traveled all over the place,” she noted. “Each place has given me a wide range of techniques that I’ve used in my work and in how I’ve created and run Infinite Alchemy.”
Her formal training took place at the Academy of Creative Hair in Wilkes-Barre, which has since become Jolie Academy. Madden’s 16-year journey in the industry has seen her evolve into one of the most sought-after hairstylists in the area.
