Winchester-based bridal hair stylist Laura Denny has been recognized as a finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards 2025, in the highly competitive wedding hair stylist category.
Representing Alida K, Laura is set to compete against other top stylists from the region, with the regional winners being announced in November. The national finals will follow in January 2025. Selection is based on client feedback and the evaluation of an expert panel.
Laura, who has had a bustling year, launched a new podcast and had her work featured in various online blogs and magazines. She has already styled for 32 weddings this year, with another 12 scheduled before the close of 2024.
Speaking about her nomination, Laura shared, “Entering the awards was a personal challenge. I didn’t expect to become a finalist, so it’s a mix of shock and excitement. Being up against such talented stylists is an honor, and winning the regional award would be a personal milestone.”
Regardless of the outcome, Laura expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m incredibly thankful for my clients’ trust and support and look forward to continuing to create beautiful hairstyles for years to come.”
Damian Bailey, founder of The Wedding Industry Awards, highlighted the prestige of the recognition, stating, “Our awards focus on the quality of feedback, not just the number of votes. Every year, the best suppliers rise to the top, and the 2025 Regional Finalists are truly exceptional.”
The upcoming awards night in November promises to celebrate the best in the wedding industry, and Laura Denny’s journey to the top continues.
