Luxe Hair & Beauty, located on Bingley Road in Saltaire, has been awarded the title of Best Beauty Salon 2024 by the Telegraph & Argus (T&A). Co-owners Gabriella Nash and Rosie Caink expressed their excitement and gratitude for the recognition, crediting their supportive local community for the win.
Upon receiving the news, Rosie Caink said, “Thank you so much, that is amazing,” highlighting the joy of achieving such an accolade in a competitive field. She added, “It is insane that we have managed to win it,” acknowledging the presence of many remarkable salons in Bradford.
Since opening in April 2022, Luxe has made significant strides in the beauty industry, gaining traction and recognition quickly. Just six months after launching, the salon was nominated for Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year at the T&A’s Retail, Leisure & Hospitality Awards.
Luxe Hair & Beauty offers a variety of services, with Rosie specializing in beauty treatments such as BIAB nails, brow shaping, lash lifts, and waxing, while Gabriella focuses on hair styling. Gabriella is passionate about helping clients gain confidence through their hair transformations.
Rosie expressed appreciation for the community’s support, noting, “Our customers have really got behind us.” She mentioned that many local residents, even those unfamiliar with the salon, took the time to vote after seeing the T&A coverage. The enthusiasm from clients has been overwhelming, with many actively promoting Luxe through social media.
Looking ahead, Haskell and Caink have ambitious plans for their salon’s growth. Rosie shared their hopes to expand the business, including hiring new staff and training them. Gabriella has also envisioned developing a mini brand for hair products, while Rosie is working on introducing new beauty treatments.
Rosie concluded, “We are absolutely rushed off our feet,” indicating the salon’s busy schedule and demand. They aspire to bring on a receptionist to help manage the growing business, signaling a bright future for Luxe Hair & Beauty.
