Georgina Rodríguez has made significant strides in the business world, particularly with her hair transplant clinics, Insparya Hair Medical Clinica SL. Recent financial reports for 2021 and 2022 reveal impressive profits, totaling €4,210,535 after taxes and expenses. This marks a substantial increase from the previous year’s earnings of €3,613,499, underscoring the success of Rodríguez’s business ventures.
In August, Georgina stepped down as a joint administrator of the company, with Sandro Ricardo Martin Cardoso taking her place alongside Paulo Joaquim Silva Ramos, a co-founder of the clinic and business partner of Cristiano Ronaldo. Insparya is part of a larger entity, Insparya International SGPS, SA, which manages all of Ronaldo’s business interests and was established 13 years ago in Portugal.
This year, Insparya celebrated its fifth anniversary in Spain by opening a large center in Barcelona. The group has treated over 33,000 patients and conducted more than 15,000 hair transplants, positioning itself as a leader in the Spanish market. With over 90 operating rooms and a team of more than 400 professionals, the clinics are also expanding into Portugal and Italy.
Plans for growth are ambitious, with an additional €20 million investment over the next three years aimed at establishing new clinics in major European cities. This expansion reflects the strategic vision shared by Georgina and Ronaldo, who are actively diversifying their income streams.
Cristiano Ronaldo has also proven to be a savvy businessman, with ventures ranging from a hotel chain to a gym franchise, contributing significantly to his wealth. A 2013 study highlighted the financial struggles of many elite athletes post-retirement, revealing that a significant percentage face bankruptcy within a few years. However, Ronaldo’s strategic investments seem to safeguard his financial future.
Georgina, too, is carving out her own identity beyond being Ronaldo’s partner. She has emphasized her role as a businesswoman, as showcased in her successful Netflix documentary. “I am much more than a footballer’s wife,” she has stated, reflecting her commitment to her entrepreneurial pursuits.
