The Pure Beauty Awards is a significant event in the beauty industry, honoring the top skincare, haircare, makeup, and tools launched in the UK over the past year. This year, the ceremony took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair on October 24.
Among the 32 awards presented across 10 categories—covering aspects like packaging, innovation, ingredients, and efficacy—one Irish brand stood out. Sea+Solu, an Irish haircare company, won the award for Best New Hair & Scalp Product, surpassing entries from popular brand K18.
This victory is a notable achievement for Sea+Solu, as the award process is highly competitive. Out of approximately 300 entries, a panel of industry experts shortlisted three products per category in September, after which the public voted to determine the winners.
Sea+Solu’s winning product, the Moisture Melt Hair Mask, is a weekly conditioning treatment designed to provide maximum hydration and strength to hair. Users rave about its effectiveness, and the mask features a unique booster system that allows customization for desired results, such as Volume, Strength, Anti-Frizz, and Moisture.
While K18’s new Damage Shield protective conditioner was a worthy finalist, Sea+Solu emerged as the winner. Congratulations to Sea+Solu on this incredible accomplishment!
