Model Chrissy Teigen has addressed growing criticism after unveiling her eyebrow transplant over the weekend. The 35-year-old took to Instagram Stories to respond to those labeling the procedure as “out of touch with reality.”
“Why are people so upset about every little thing I do? You’ll give yourself a heart attack,” Teigen wrote, sharing a photo of a Daily Mail article that highlighted the fan backlash over her eyebrow transformation.
The model had previously shared a series of photos showcasing her new, fuller brows, which she explained were the result of transplanting hair from the back of her head. “I never wear makeup if I can avoid it, so I was very excited about this eyebrow transplant,” she wrote in her post, tagging her doctors.
Despite Teigen’s excitement about the procedure, the news sparked criticism online. One Twitter user responded to an article headline, “Me? I try to keep paying the bills and living life.”
Teigen, known for frequently engaging with her critics, is no stranger to stirring controversy. Just last week, she faced backlash for hosting a Squid Game-themed party with her husband, singer John Legend, a choice some fans deemed “wrong.”
Despite the criticism, Teigen continues to use her social media platforms to defend her choices and express her excitement about her latest cosmetic procedure.
