At 45, beauty expert Nikol Johnson shared her hair care routine that helped her achieve thicker, fuller hair. In a YouTube video, Johnson explained that her regimen addresses the hormonal changes women face in their 40s, combining supplements, diet, and proper scalp care.
Central to her routine is Nutrafol, a supplement designed to target hair thinning caused by factors like hormonal imbalances, stress, and diet. Johnson saw noticeable improvements after four months, emphasizing the importance of consistency. “You have to be patient and stick with it,” she said.
In addition to supplements, Johnson combines healthy meals—like avocado, fish, and healthy fats—with her routine to support hair growth. She also stressed the need for proper scalp cleansing and recommended using a microtowel for hair drying to prevent breakage.
