As anticipation builds for Demi Moore’s potential win at the Oscars, the star has already made a statement with one of her best red-carpet looks of the season. The Best Actress nominee stunned in a beautiful Armani Privé dress, paired with a glamorous yet powerful hairstyle.
Celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos shared the vision behind the look, aiming for a timeless style that matched Moore’s iconic personality. “For her hair, I wanted it to be glamorous but also powerful—just like Demi,” Giannetos explained.
Giannetos took inspiration from an iconic Vogue shoot Moore did in the early 2000s, photographed by Mario Testino, calling the final result “Oscars waves.”
The hairstylist walked through his process, starting with towel-dried hair. He applied Moroccanoil Boost Spray and Moroccanoil Perfect Defense Heat Protectant to the roots, followed by a blowout using the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer on high heat. Next, he curled Moore’s hair with the Dyson Corrale Straightener at a medium heat setting (365°F), setting each section. To finish, Giannetos brushed out the curls and used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to achieve a lush, glamorous finish.
