PHYTO has introduced its first-ever collection designed specifically for curly and wavy hair, alongside a new nourishing treatment to enhance hair health. The French brand’s CURLS range targets hair types 2a to 3a on the Andre Walker scale, offering a comprehensive haircare solution formulated to care for and define natural curls and waves.
The key ingredients in the CURLS range include:
Fermented Sugar: Creates a protective barrier around the hair fiber, enhancing the natural shape of waves and curls.
Illipé Butter: Deeply moisturizes, nourishes, and strengthens hair.
Sweet Almond Oil: Increases flexibility and elasticity of the hair fiber.
Biotechnological Oil: Derived from chestnut sap microalgae, it smooths and provides an anti-frizz effect with rich oleic acid.
The collection features:
CURLS Hydration Shampoo: A moisturizing formula that cleanses and removes residue while infusing hair with active ingredients.
CURLS Hydration Conditioner: A creamy conditioner that instantly detangles and leaves hair soft and silky.
CURLS Definition Gel-Cream: A 24-hour anti-frizz leave-in treatment that defines curls and waves without causing weight or stiffness.
Wake Up CURLS Spray: A reviving spray that redefines curls and tames frizz between washes.
Additionally, PHYTO has added a new product to its NOURISHMENT collection: the Absolute Nourishment Care Oil Pre-Shampoo Elixir. This versatile product nourishes and detangles before shampooing or can be used as a leave-in treatment oil.
Like the rest of the line, all products are formulated with White Mallow plant extract instead of water, known for its high polysaccharide content that leaves hair feeling soft, supple, and shiny.
PHYTO’s products are botanically based and free from sulfates, parabens, silicones, and glucose. They are also rated among the top allergen-free formulas in hair care, according to the Mayo Clinic’s Skin Safe resource.
