Keke Palmer made history last year as Creme of Nature’s first-ever Chief Brand Officer. She’s not just the face of the brand, but has also been involved in product development, marketing, and shaping its direction. “Finding quality products for textured hair can still be a challenge for Black women,” Palmer says. “That’s been the most rewarding part of this job so far.”
Alongside her role, Palmer has kept busy with her podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, press tours for One of Them Days with SZA and Issa Rae, and winning the NAACP Entertainer of the Year Award. Now, she stars in the brand’s “Unstoppable Hair” campaign, which promotes empowerment, confidence, and natural beauty.
During Black History Month, Palmer returned to Chicago, where Creme of Nature was founded, to attend an event at the DuSable Museum. There, she helped showcase the evolution of textured hair. “It was a special moment to honor the brand’s heritage,” Palmer reflects.
As part of Women’s History Month, Palmer also highlights the importance of acknowledging those who inspire us, like Queen Latifah, who has always supported her.
For Palmer, self-care is essential, and a good hair care routine is key. She shares her tips, including letting her hair dry before fluffing it to avoid frizz and using Creme of Nature products like the Strength & Shine Leave-In Conditioner to keep her curls healthy and smooth.
Beyond beauty, Palmer credits her glow to her family, saying, “They remind me of what’s most important—God and my faith.” With her focus on empowerment and self-care, Palmer continues to inspire and uplift others.
