However, for those with a biotin deficiency, oral supplements may be more effective. Biotin supplements can replenish depleted biotin levels, stimulate keratin production, and improve hair growth. The recommended daily intake for adults is 30 mcg, and supplementation can prevent or reverse symptoms like hair loss and brittle nails.

Effective Alternatives to Biotin Shampoo for Hair Growth
