Millie Bobby Brown’s hair transformations are keeping fans—and frankly, everyone—on their toes. One moment, she’s channeling a Pamela Anderson-inspired, messy blonde updo, and the next, she’s sporting bubblegum pink hair while promoting her line of hair and body mists. And just when we’ve processed the pink, she’s back to blonde—this time with a chic, wavy bob. Does she have a personal hairstylist on call at all times? A Moira Rose-style wig wall? It’s a lot to keep up with.
On March 22, Brown’s beauty line Florence by Mills posted a video showcasing the actress with YouTuber Katie Fang to promote her new “Soft Girl” hair and body mist. Brown, matching the product’s pastel pink packaging, rocked a frothy pink blouse, bubble bath pink nails, and, of course, cotton candy-colored hair. But, as we’ve learned to expect from her, the pink was just a temporary switch, because by the next appearance, her hair had returned to blonde—but not the voluminous, ’90s-inspired look we were getting used to.
Fast forward to March 25, when Brown posted a video in partnership with UNICEF, where her new blunt bob made its debut. The sleek, center-parted, lightly waved bob was on full display in the video and even got a second showing in her Instagram story that day, where she applied the Soft Girl mist to her wet, curly bob. Talk about a quick hair cycle.
Back in February, Brown had gone platinum blonde, transitioning from golden brown and embracing the voluminous ’90s-style hairdos that were once iconic on stars like Pamela Anderson and Jessica Simpson. The style was bold and glamorous, but, unfortunately, it also triggered a wave of misogynistic comments, with some critics accusing her of looking “too mature” for her age. In a powerful response, Brown took to Instagram to address the online hate, writing, “Let’s talk about the articles, the headlines, the people who are so desperate to tear young women down… It’s disturbing. The fact that some of these articles are written by women? Even worse.”
Brown continued, calling out the double standards young women face: “We always talk about supporting and uplifting young women, but when the time comes, it seems easier to tear them down for clicks. Disillusioned people can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman on her terms, not theirs.”
With her ever-changing hair and unapologetic stance, Brown proves she’s not just a style chameleon but a force to be reckoned with.
