Appleton, known for his work with luminaries like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, orchestrated this dramatic transformation.
The hair journey commenced with Jenna Bush Hager sporting a long blowout with fringe, prompting her to quip, “Some of this is not my hair — spoiler alert. He put in … how many extensions did you put in?”
“Packs and packs,” Appleton replied. “I got this, easy. As soon as I met Jenna, I knew she was born for this. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on you for a long time.”
As the co-host revealed her initial look, her newly added length, she humorously confessed, “I like it — I don’t want to hurt Chris’ feelings, but I do feel a little like Barbie.”
But Appleton disagreed, proclaiming, “Barbie’s in! You must have another 6 inches, at least.”
