Celebrity hairstylist Bradley Leake, renowned for his work with personalities like Chrishell Stause and Lala Kent, highlighted the bob’s ability to exude a mature yet chic vibe. “It creates a mature look that feels chic instead of trendy,” he remarked. “Not to mention it’s extremely complimentary on a variety of face shapes.”
Leake specifically pointed to Sydney Sweeney’s bob, noting that its length strikes a balance between intentional brevity and ample movement and texture.
Mia Santiago, the creative force behind Mariska Hargitay’s hairstyles, echoed Leake’s sentiments, underlining the shift towards minimalistic styles in both face and eye makeup in 2024. “I think bobs are making a comeback for a couple of reasons,” she noted. “These are not your mother or grandmother’s bob from the early 2000s or beyond.”
